Temple de la Sagrada Família

The Construction on this Gaudí designed temple began in 1882, and still isn't finished. Gaudí worked on it's creation until his death June 10, 1926 (he was run over by a tram and died three days later).
The temple will have three fronts, this one being the Passion facade with it's four spires, it's theme is Christ's last days and death.

This is the Birth or Nativity facade and it's four spires. It's theme is Christ's birth and childhood. The remaining facade which has yet to be completed will be the Death and Resurrection or Glory facade and will be larger than these two and be the link between them (It's the face of the church while the Passion and Birth are sides). It will also have four spires (in total 12 spires dedicated to the Apostles), four belltowers and two colossal domes.
Mackenzie and I decided to climb one of the towers.

This was part of the way up, you can see Mackenzie in the next little balcony up.
And a view of the tree with the doves.

A little higher (isn't that nice that they put the numbers on the steps so we don't have to count), and this is from behind the tree with the birds as we walked across a little bridge between two of the spires.
We ended up going up a little over 330 steps and then back down one of the other spires.
By then we were pretty tired of walking around so we decided to trek up to Park Guell (guess who designed this one) for a break.
