Here we are at Auto Trader.
The sign is at the end of the drive that leads to the office/flat. There are a couple of other houses on the way down the drive, and we are at the end near the gate.
Our little car!
The streets here are pretty narrow, and parking is tough, so the smaller your car, the better. Plus, their gas is per liter what our gas in the US is per gallon, so you definitely want great gas mileage.
Luckily I was able to get a car with personalized license plates.
And this is the hill that we walk down and UP everyday to get to the corner store that is about two blocks over. They make fresh bread everyday and we get ice cream. See the last bit of shade up the hill, that's our drive and if you look really hard you can see Mackenzie standing in the street in front of the car.
This is Mackenzie enjoying her lemon and vanilla drumstick outside the store.
They have a wide variety of ice creams so we try something new, most of the time.
If you go a few more blocks down and over, you can use these stairs to get to Mackenzie's all time favorite place, McDonalds.
Friday is our McDonald's day here. Every Friday after school we walk down and eat, but remember, we have to walk back also and it's uphill.
I told Macknezie that we could go every Friday rain, snow, or shine, but that we would have to walk. So far, she's agrees, but it's been nice everyday so far. Let's see how this works in the winter when it's dark and cold!
We walked down to McDonalds with Roland one day, Izabella's sone, she works at Auto Trader. He speaks very little English [read:none], but can mimic anything that we say.
He hangs out at the house/office when he's not in school so Mackenzie gets to play with him most days. His school starts the beginning of September.
Oh, and we put a hair wrap in Mackenzie's hair this weekend, she wanted everyone to see it.
