Santa Park

This is the entrance to Santa Park, it's built into the Syvásenvaara Hill and is about 12 meters underground.
Most of the walls have a covering over it (otherwise it would be freezing inside) but they have left some of the original rock showing.

This tells you about the cave and rock of Santa Park.
We signed the Visitor's logbook (the only ones from the US on our page) and headed straight to the Merry-go-round.
There is a clock on the top of the Merry-Go-Round that counts down the days until Christmas (hours and minutes too), uhhh, it's a long time.

Unfortunately, only kids can sit on the reindeer (I tried to sneak on, but got caught), so I had to sit on one of the stupid sleighs behind Mackenzie.
These are self powered pedeling helicopters. They go around above the main center area of Santa Park. It's a good workout, we should have done it more.

While we were eating lunch, Mackenzie spied Santa walking around, then she went over to talk to him and he said "Hi Mackenzie" and they talked for a little bit.
She was pretty impressed that he could remember her name.

We went on the Reindeer Coaster. It's one of those icky rides that goes around in circles a few times, then goes backwards a few times.

We went a bunch of times.
Mackenzie really liked it and went by herself when I needed a break. She could have stayed on it for hours, she loved it.

This is inside the Magic Sleigh Ride and you go through the seasons, it's really cute.

They took a picture of us too.
