This is Dam Square, the main tourist area in Amsterdam. We stopped for breakfast in a little shop along that street (it was very good)!

Then we wandered through some of the shops and the kids tried on some clogs.

There are quite a few places to try on shoes around there!

We did one of the bus tours to Zaanse Schans and Edam. Zaanse Schans is north of Amsterdam and is a small community on the banks of the river Zaan. There are 5 windmills, a wooden shoe factory, a mustard mill (a couple of other museum/shop places) and a small shop where they make cheese (and give out samples).

Then we headed to the cute medieval town of Edam where the kids got off the bus first and then waited for us. We got off last! We wandered around Edam and bought some chocolates then got back on the bus to go back to Amsterdam.

To the bulb fields!
