pic picOct 20, 2003 - We took a train from Edinburgh to Inverness (cabbed from the flat to the train station where Grampa is practicing his hail the cab move) and we rented our right sided driving on the left side of the road car (and lucky us, it worked). We drove about 20 miles South of Inverness to an area called Bunloit, between the town of Drumnadrochit and Fort Augustus, right along Loch Ness. We stayed in a self-catering Farmhouse up in the hills overlooking Loch Ness (this is the place, the brick building to the right is the shed).

This is the view from the front of the house as you face Loch Ness! Loch Ness is HUGE and beautiful! Loch Ness is the deepest Loch in Scotland at over 700 feet deep and is about 24 miles long. These pictures aren't even close to showing how nice it was there.
