Feb 20, 2005 - Karibu (welcome in Swahili) - We spent Mackenzie's ski break on safari (travel in Swahili) in Tanzania! We met up with David and Lindsey in Amsterdam for the flight to Kilimanjaro. We were met by Frank who was our guide/driver for the safari.We planned a day of nothing before the safari so David and Lindsey could adjust to the time difference a bit (11 hours ahead of San Diego, 2 ahead of Budapest). We spent the day at the pool at our hotel in Arusha which had a great view of Mt. Meru, of course the kids also spent part of the day on the computer!
