The only thing Mackenzie could think about was going on a Gondola. That's it, that's all she could think about. So we went looking for Gondola's and found a lot! These were on the Grand Canal near San Marco Square.



We looked around then discussed the different places that we could go on a gondola (while looking at fish)! Mackenzie didn't care, she just wanted to go one on anywhere. Let's just go!



Finally we were on a gondola and Mackenzie was happy!

She liked watching the oar!


After the Gondola ride we ate lunch at Mackenzie favorite foreign restaurant, McDonalds (hey it's foreign in Europe)! We sat out near San Marco Square next to these lions and pigeons.

San Marco Square is where all the people feed all the thousands of pigeons. We sat down and they immediately start walking around you waiting for leftovers. We didn't give them any, but when we stood to go, they landed on me (one of the birds here is standing on the other birds head)! Mackenzie thought this was hilarious, but wouldn't put her arms out to feed the birds.



So we walked over to the square and got some bird food for Mackenzie. She had me do it first, but in no time she was having a ball! Amazingly, for how many birds were on us and around us, we didn't get pooped on once!

They don't care where they sit, even your head!

Yes Mom, we washed our hands right after.



Mackenzie laughed the whole time, and I think she went through 5 small bags of bird food this day.



We came back everyday!

But don't worry, we didn't take any more bird pictures!
